Low cost high performance.
ALENCIOUS SHU ZEE LO is WRONG!!Overall, I think this calculator is [inexpensive], convinient and powerful. I like it more than my TI-82 and also more than the new casio MS series(fx-300ms) :). Enjoy!

Best calc for middle school mathTI-83 which is very pricy and has so many functions that its mind-boggling. If you need an ideal calculator for algebra or pre algebra, this is the calculator for you.
great for math fans but with really poor instructions
Cassio vs. SharpOn the other hand, if you enter 2(21) in both calculators and then press the equal key, both calculators will generate 42 in their respective display areas. It must be that each calculator's design is such that both do not recognize an "operator" (addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division) when a number enclosed in parentheses is immediately followed by another number.
If you enter (21)2, both calculators recognize it as an error in "syntax" or rules by which either unit can calculate or perform an "operation." You did not enter an operator so the calculator cannot perform any calculation. In the first case, (21)2, no operation (multiplication) is recognized by either calculator and as a result, both units generate the "error" message. In the second case, 2(21), both calculators recognize the "operator" (multiplication) and performs the operation to arrive at the correct answer, 42.
Nevertheless, both the Sharp and the Casio recognizes the "order of operation." For example, if you enter the expression (2 +3)2 and then press the equal key, you will again see the "error" message displayed by both calculators. However, if you enter (2 + 3) x 2, you will see the correct answer displayed by both calculators, that is, 10. It is evident that any number or expression enclosed in parentheses as the first entry which is then followed by a number will generate the "error" message.
I just tried entering (2 + 3)2 on the scientific calculator that comes with Windows XP Home edition. When I pressed the enter key, the display remained at "2." This means that the computer did not recognize any "operator" after (2 + 3). If you enter "(" then "2" then "+" then "3" then ")", you see immediately that the result of the operation is 5. Go on and enter "2" and press the equal key, and you see that nothing happens because you did not enter any operator (multiplication) after 5. You are stuck at 2. While the calculator in Windows will not generate an "error" message on the one hand, both the Sharp and Casio will to let you know that you have violated the "syntax" or rules used by either calculator. Remember, a calculator is just a dumb paper weight and it won't do anything for you until you tell it exactly what to do. However, both the Sharp and Casio will perform various calculations for you but will only follow the "syntax" or rules incorporated in their respective designs.
One feature on the Sharp that I really like is the fact that each numeral or expression you enter is displayed in the lower line of the two line display before you enter an operator. This allows you to see and make sure you are entering the correct data. Once you enter the correct data and follow it with some type of operator, the data you entered appears on the upper line of the display area. This allows you to "double check" all entries before you press an operator or equal key. The Casio fx-115MS on the other hand shows all data entered on the upper line first just as you enter it in the calculator.
I like both calculators equally well, and both have their advantages and disadvantages. But the advantages and disadvantages spring mostly from user preference. For me though, the Sharp EL-506VB has the edge because it comes with more thorough and user friendly documentation explaining each function more thoroughly than the Casio fx-115MS. So for five dollars more the Sharp is worth it.
The ... Casio graphing calculator also looks like a good investment and seems to come with a very adequate booklet of about 150 to 200 pages. That will most likely be my next calculator.

Small, cool, OK picture qualityGiven that, it performs well. But yes, the shutter slows way down in low light causing more blurry pictures than I'd like. And the flash is only good for a few feet (up to 6ft according to the specs). But if you can learn to live with its shortcomings, it's a fun little gadget.
It has many very useful functions like white balance and exposure compensation, all within its very intuitive menu system. And you can customize the joystick to control a given feature during recording (flash mode, exposure, white balance).
I thought the tiny joystick would be a problem with my big thumb, but it's not a problem once you get used to it.
Digital zoom is fairly useless with a 2 megapixel camera; just blows things up and makes them blurry.
The built-in memory won't hold very much, so you pretty much need an extra memory card.
All in all, a fun toy that would be a lot more fun at $200. But if you must have it (and I did), go out and get one!
Extremely slick camera! Fun and big wow factor with friendspros.
very fast startup time - you can start shooting within about 1 second after hitting the power button.
very quick review time for recents pictures - easily scan through your photos quickly and delete on the fly.
thumbstick is easy to use, very intuitive - i never once picked up the manual. just used the 'menu' button or moved the thumbstick to control all features.
upgradable - i added a 64 meg sd ram card in addition to the 12 meg onboard.
requires no software - just plug it in the cradle and turn it on and windows will instantly see it as another drive!
LIGHT AND SMALL!!! - it's the size of a credit card!! fits in a shirt pocket with tugging down on your shirt. so small, the wow factor on this thing is great!
great screen quality - a generous 1.5" screen on a camera this small.
OVERALL - just an excellent camera well worth the money!!
overall - well worth the investment for web and family and fun photos. will take up to a 1600x1200 image with no problem. fun camera all around
great battery life - no joke, i took over 150 pictures with flash each time before i got low on the battery. it charges quickly too! and you can turn off the screen if you don't want to waste battery life.
cons
no optical zoom...the digital zoom is worthless but who cares. it's tiny!
must use cradle to charge - which is kind of a hassle but the battery life is good so it's not a big deal.

Good in size, bad in quality.
great productthe camera is for fun and play.
I like to take lot of pictures and taking an expensinve camera in my pocket is not an option, so when I saw exilim I was amazed. this was what I was looking for and finding that it could be am MP3 player was a big bonus. later I found out that it was the other way around.
after recieving this camera, I started download MP3 from the internet and finally I had time to listen to the kind of music that I like, and not what you get on the radio or in music stores, so a whole new world has been open for me. by the way, the ear plugs are great too and you get a controller too.
the pictures are great, I work in many factories so I take pictures of the machines that I work on and the lighting are usually very bad, but on maximum resolution the pictures are great and the color definition is great too, I did not use even once a color enhance filter on the images.
so, if you like multimedia, this is a must!
very cute camera.

A Small Price To Pay For A Good PDA
take your desktop with you1)Syncs very well with Outlook (contacts, calendar, to-do)
2)Nice text sync program
3)The finance program looks simple and efficient (although I don't use it)
4)Pocket sheet is supposed to sync with excel although I still have not gotten that to work.
5)Cool Chess program and other games!
For what you are paying, and the value this delivers, you should have no complaints. You could pay 20 times more for something with better connectivity, storage capacity, and features, but that's what desktops are for. This device is small and synchronizes well with Outlook and Act! Buy one of these and take your desktop with you.
