It was not worth waiting for. I am very disappointed
Finally a Print Shop worth using!
Most of you are not very smart. It says right on Amazon's webpage that this version is NOT OS X compatible.
Like another reviewer said, buy the version that the Apple Store currently sells, which is made for OS X. Stop complaining cuz you didn't read what it is that you bought.

Nice app, but has weird quirks that need fixing. The app doesn't support ANY antialiasing making on-screen editing difficult. If your project is destined for print this isn't a big deal, but if your destination is a screen image it's a problem.
The program's JPEG compression is HORRIBLE; its BEST setting is worse than Photoshop's WORST setting! With its lack of antialiased text, this renders the program's e-postcard feature practically useless.
The installer is questionable. The program ships on three CDs, with the installer on one and extra graphics and fonts on the others. But the installer doesn't add the contents of the other two CDs to your installation. Those have to be installed MANUALLY. Considering that the quality of the graphics on the other two CDs is much higher AND the fact that this information isn't clearly explained anywhere, it becomes an issue for the less knowledgable/experience (for whom this app is primarily aimed towards).
Knowing this, I would buy this app again -- but I wouldn't use it for anything destined for on-screen use. Since the app is called *PRINT* Explosion this makes sense. :-)
UPDATE 5/2/04: Since writing this review, I have learned via an email conversation with Nova Development that they have no interest in addressing the shortcomings listed above. I have also purchased The Print Shop for Mac OS X which is a significantly nicer/higher quality app and is definitely an OS X-savvy app (not a Windows port as Print Explosion is), but it doesn't have the billions of bits of art and fonts that come with Print Explosion. But if given the choice between Print Explosion and Print Shop, choose Print Shop.
Insanely Great Mac Print Software! My wife and I are both teachers, and we use Print Explosion Deluxe (she under OS 9 and me under OS X) for school projects, as well as for our church. It's a simply outstanding program for making banners, flyers, greeting cards, and other printed projects. The templates/designs are great, and the tools are excellent. And, most important to me being a Mac user since 1984, it feels like a Macintosh product, unlike Print Shop and some of the other "Windows ports" I've tried that are just hokey on the Mac.
Contrary to another review I read on Amazon, I think the graphics are incredibly well organized and of great quality. It's easy to find images for just about any purpose, and the software is just incredibly easy to use.
It even supports EPS graphics. So no matter where the clip art comes from, you can print it out, even on an inkjet printer, and the quality is perfect at any size. Even Microsoft Word doesn't do that for me. And creating your own projects from scratch is easy.
Along with Quicken, Word and Entourage, Print Explosion Deluxe is one of my core Macintosh applications. I use it daily and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Pressit very BAD
As good as it getsI have to tell you that after I tried the kit, I was satisfied completely. The printing is perfect: Your get your CD's labels precisely positioned in the paper. Besides, as a computer analyst, i find the idea of the software being based on JAVA explendid! It doesn't crash at all, is easy to use and you can design your own labels! Also it contains a whole set of labels on the package.
If you want quality on your labels, get this kit!

A good 3D programI finally realized that you can down load free figures and props off of the internet. I spent the last few days down loading many props. Now I can make more realistic images, I hope to purchase the Millenium Girls (Boys) figure. These charaters enable the user to create a wide variety of children characters. The children figures that come with Poser are very limited in what can be done to manipulate them. I plan to buy some adult figures that can be manipulated.
It is kind of frustrating that I have to buy extra figures instead of having them with the program (Of course You can download many figures and morphs and textures for free) But for the price Poser is relatively inexpensive and easy to use(The student version is even cheaper. I have made great progress in the past six months since I bought the program. I have not had any official instruction in 3D Modeling and animation except for a brief course in AutoCAD. I hope to take a 3D course next semester. I would love to have formal instruction on Poser.
You can create your own morph targets for you figures as well as make your own props , but these take advance skill and without formal instruction it can be difficult and frustrating. Props can be created in other programs such as Bryce and Lightwave (The class I will be taking uses Lightwave). The Poser Pro Pack is supose to enable the user to use Poser with these other programs. I was told that many computer artists use many different software programs using the stong points of each in combination.
Order now! ...For beginners, the software is superb in its' user-friendliness. Fulfill your 3D character and animation fantasies on a budget. The User Guide is very clearly written. Characters can be exported to other 3D applications like Bryce 5, World Builder, Terragen, forester . . . and yes, Hopalong Ferrari in Texas - even the 3DStudio Max daddy bought for ya!
If you doubt the truly professional images Poser is capable of, check out some user galleries on the WWW, and marvel at the near-photorealistic results experienced artists have achieved.
Easy enough for beginners, advanced enough for artists. And just think of all the cool cowboy outfits you can buy with the money you save! What a deal!

Works as advertisedI haven't had any problems at all while using this item. The extra 64 megs of space is great. My only problem with it could be the slow speed of the card, but that could be due to the fact that it is attached to a PDA.
Rating: A definite buy

BummerIts buggy. Constant freezes. Slow. In continuous mode, mp3s can be played during slide show (great) but the slide show can't be turned off unless you force quit (which is accompanied by a freeze and a re-boot. Every time. In interactive mode, mp3s can't be played, although at least now one can exit the program.
I checked my system requirements. All OK (Carbon lib1.6 and Quicktime 6.0.3). I emailed tech support, Got a very quick reply asking if the above were installed. When I said yes, never heard anything back.
Bottom line. This software is not cheap. If it did what it promised, it would be worth the money. As is, it doesn't do that much more than the freeware that comes with most digital cameras.
In hindsight, I should have read the reviews at http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/5534. Not so good.
For those of you on OS X that are enjoying this software, my apologies. I writing this as a caution to those running OS 9. Its upsetting to pay this much for software only to learn it does only a fraction of what its advertised to do.
iview--shame on you.
Very Versatile Cataloguing ProgramI am an amateur photographer and shoot Canon RAW images and iView Media Pro 2.0 handles them quickly and efficiently.
The program also alows you to do basic image editing if you don't want to take the photo into Photoshop or another image editing program. I mainly uses Photoshop but I have tried the red eye feature in iView Media Pro and it worked just fine.
In sum, there is a bit of a learning curve but it's not steep, iView is there to help and the effort is well worth it.
