I got this item for free via mail-in offer after purchasing a Fuji DX-10 camera about 5 years ago. Well what can I say? It works as advertised. Well that's not quite the whole story. Years ago with my old computers, it was EXTREMELY finicky, trying to get the drivers to work on Win95/98. But now with their new drivers and XP it never skips a beat. But if you are using floppy drives in 2004 to x-fer your Smart Media, you seriously need to consider upgrading your hardware. Hey that's me! OK I admit I'm getting a new camera FINALLY.

I do not reccomend this tape. Unreliable. I purchase this and had a lot of trouble with the sound. At first I thought it was my camera. I went out and bought Sony mini DV tapes and they work fine. With that, I reccomend purchasing another brand.

I'm not exactly an expert on film quality, but I had no problems with this Digital Videocassette. It recorded just fine in my Panasonic camera. Just pay attention to how many you are ordering. I thought for some reason I was ordering a three-pack. But there was only one. My mistake.

Get tape good quality at a good price. Buy this blank tape.

A very cool little device, this gives you an expandable flash USB stick - I guess you can use up to and including the new 512 MB cards with this device. I use with only 64 MB at the moment :-(
I have tried on Win98 and Linux, the former you will need to install a driver, but it works as standard USB mass storage, so no special driver is needed for Windows200/XP or recent Linux.
If you don't have xD cards, then look into them they are tiny and perfect for devices like this. I can't wait for an xD based personal stereo. My one gripe about this particular device is that the cap does not fit very well, leaving me to wonder how dust proof it is. I won't be keeping it in my pocket because of that, but will carry it around in my laptop bag.

I bought this camera and it would not load the first two rolls of film (drop and load?). We finally got the third roll to load. That was the ONLY roll of film we got out of this camera. I returned it and was given another one, brand new in the box. The film STILL would not load and even the clerk at the photo store could not understand the problem. I didn't opt for a third S1450. Instead, swapped it out for a different company's camera.

Hi, I'm a lover of picture taking and I ordered this particular camera based photographs one of my friends showed me. They bought this camera and I ended up loving the quality of the pictures. So I got one and have taken tons of rolls and have been very satisfied with all prints (which I develop at my local drug store BTW) :)

My husband has a Samsung that I could not load to save my soul!! I wanted one I could just load and shoot, and thats exactly what I got with this camera! I am glad I did not read the one and only review for this because it was not a fair rating. Sometimes you just get a bummer amongst the pack. I think the buyer should have tried another camera and they probably would have been satisfied. I bought this to take pictures of my very active and adorable granddaughter. I took one whole roll the first day I had this camera and I could not have gotten better results. The zoom is fabulous! I cannot wait until the holidays to capture every little detail of her precious angelic face! An excellent value for the money too!
