wrong card for a Kodak 4330
I bought this card but found it was the wrong one for my camera. Now I am trying to figure out how to return it and get a refund. This was my first experience of buying online for something other than books or DVDs and may be my last.

wrong card sent
I purchased a Kodak DX4330 3mp digital camera and docking station along with this card on Nov. 9, 2002. The card is the wrong card for the camera. can i exchange it for the right card and/or get a refund?

Kodak Digital Camera needs Kodak Picture Cards.
I am using a Kodak DX 4900 digital camera. I found that if you use Kodak compactflash cards instead of others for your camera, the pictures are more beautiful. Other picture cards may be a little lower price, but the pictures are not so sharp, so bright and so beautiful as Kodak's.
The cards are worth for the money.

shipping review
Shipping this little item has taken a long, long time. Now I wish I had gone to Wal-mart and picked it up.

Great Memory Card
All I have to say is you have to get a memory card thats the same brand as your camera. Otherwise you will always have problem the card. If you have a Kodak camera then this card is for you. It holds 98 pictures (highest quality) on my 3.2 megapixel camera.

Very bad results with Epson 820
Don't expect to get good picture quality with this paper if you have an Epson Photo 820 printer. I tried differents settings, including those suggested by Kodak, and always got very bad results.

Mixed performances on this paper, so past on it.
I got to agree with the others on Kodak Picture Paper quality for Canon printer, it is bad. I have a lot of printers: 2 Epson, HP, and Canon. My old Epson 1200 did a good job with this paper so I bought a lot (still one package unopened). I ditched that printer and used an Epson's 820 and the results were mixed. For presentation purpose of just color and text it looks fine. For photo picture you notice it isn't that good. My HP 6110 did a good job with it. My newest printer Canon's i960 did a burry job. The printout images on presentation and photo were fuzzy with too much ink. Maybe I have to put the setting to draft with less ink or something.

I think Epson matte paper is the best paper for quality/price for presentation. For photo printouts any top line glossy paper or e-gloss matte paper is fine. This paper is getting cheaper though.

Optimized for HP printers
Kodak paper is primarily for HP printers. I have used this paper on a variety of printers including HP, Lexmark, Canon and Epson and the quality is substandard on all printers except the HP. Also tried on various models of each printer manufacturer with the same result.

Some printer companies design their printers, ink and paper to work together. When this continuity is compromised, the output quality is often substandard.

In short, HP=ok. Other=**danger**

Kodak 110 Star Camera( Uses 110 Film)

This novelty wore off decades ago
When I was a kid in the 70's I owned a similiar camera (I still have it with the original box at my parents' house). The film format of 110 is too small for any prints larger than 3x5 inches, it is grainy even at that enlargement. Slide film isn't available. The last 110 camera I owned was a give-away from a computer trade show -- it was just a small box with lens and shutter that was rubber-banded to the 110 film cartridge, no exposure control, no view finder. This was 11 years ago. You want good pictures, get something else with a larger film format.

    nostogic...even....
hey, I don't own this model, but I have a little Kodak Winner 110 camrea, and I just recently bought a Bell & Howell 35mm. I finally dug out my 110 and bought the first rolls of film for it in years. even though the film is kinda hard to find sometimes, and the picture quility isn't as good as the 400 speed Kodak film I shoot in my 35mm, it's still alot of fun to play with during good sunny days, mainly cause I'm too cheap to look for flash bars for it.
I'm hoping someday to buy a Nikon but one can only wish at the moment.

Great camera for the price, ease of use, and fun.
This is a great little camera for general use. The film is quite cheap (about $2 a roll, cheaper in a multi-pack) and loads with a simple drop in. Its a lot of fun and easy to use. Although photo experts may scoff at the picture quality,k this camera is great for kids (who don't have lots of money), it's also something so inexpensive that its no biggie of your kid loses it or breaks it. The picture quality isn't bad, but this isn't a camera for really important pictures or high quality.

Excellent prints with Canon i560s printer
Using my Canon i560s printer, Kodak's recommended printer driver settings, and Kodak's free software for printing, this paper produces near flawless photos. They are semi-gloss (not high-gloss like Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy that comes with the printer). This paper has been reformulated recently (according to the packaging) and I will continue to use it for all photos. I have been unable to get Canon's software to print accurate colors on this paper - so use Kodak's! Canon's software (Easy Photo Print) won't print accurate colors even on their own Photo Paper Plus Glossy paper (and there is no way to manually tinker with the color settings in Easy Photo Print - you can in the Kodak software via the Canon print driver). If you run a comparison, you will see that Kodak has got the color thing nailed cold and Canon does not, regardless of paper type.

The only detectable flaw I've seen in any print on Kodak's Premium Picture Paper is on photos with very dark/black areas. If you hold the print at a sharp angle in bright light (you never would unless looking for this flaw) you can see a slight decrease in the reflectivness of these really dark areas that you don't see using the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy paper.

Nobody who has looked at my prints (except me) has noticed this flaw - so don't worry about it. By the way, I much prefer the semi-glossy nature of this paper to Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy which truly is so glossy it can be annoying in some lighting conditions.

The Canon i560s uses dye-based ink for printing photos. I think pigment-based ink will have different results (Canon mixes the 3 dye-based colors to produce black when printing photos, as the black cartridge is pigment based in this printer).

        Hits the mark!
This paper does what it is intended to do. It provides an affordable, quality option for printing snap shots. Would I use it to reproduce images to present in a gallery? No. But for images that require the highest quality prints I upload and print at a professional digital lab. However for printing snap shots to be sent to relatives and for my wife to use for scrapbooking this paper has proven to be the best. I have tried several papers on my Canon S520 printer, including canon's own line. I like this Kodak paper the best. With this paper I always get a reliable reproduction of my images. I would caution that it is important to follow Kodak's advandced settings recommendations to get the best prints. These are available in the package and at Kodak's web site. Kodak also offers free software to assist with the printing that will optimize the printer settings for the paper automatically. My wife (who is not computer savy) has found this program to be helpful in printing photos. I have found it helpful in that I no longer am needed to assist her every time she wants to print.

        OUSTANDING PHOTO PAPER FOR PICTURES!!
This excellent quality high gloss photo paper would be my absolute Number ONE choice for printing home-photo's!! Without a doubt, the best I have ever used!!!!!!!!
