Boo hiss! Kodak should know better!
I bought this memory card for a Christmas present and promptly returned it when I realized it's not compatible with my older, perfectly healthy Kodak camera. Kodak has switched to a new format of memory chip - a PROPRIETARY ONE - which means if you invest in this camera, you're stuck buying over-priced chips only from Kodak. I'm disapointed in Kodak and will buy instead an older Kodak model which allows for industry-standard compact flash storage. - Robertson Adams, Miami, Fla.

              Good Card
I purchased this card for a Kodak Model 4230 digital camera and found it to be a decent card for the camera. I'm sure there are other brands out there, but being a novice I wanted to stay with Kodak. No problems whatsoever and you get 95 photos on the "better" setting. Would recommend it.

              Pays to have
a spare. It works and that is all that matters.

              More Memory
I have a Kodak DC3400. It only has 8MB memory so I could only take about 11 pictures. Now I can take about 40. It is great!

              Not Worth the Price Premium
This card works fine, but here is the bitter truth.

The core of all the cards (known in technical terms as the "controller") are made by only a few DRAM manufacturers. Those handful of DRAM manufacturers then sell the "controllers" to the major flash card manufacturers (i.e. SanDisk, Kodak, Olympus, and Viking). The flash card manufacturers then simply throw some plastic casings on the controllers, slap on a label, and ship the cards. As long as the flash card manufacturer is reputable, has a good warranty, and has been around for over 5 years; you will be just fine.

What I am trying to get at? I simply want to make it clear that you should not buy a card based solely on the fact it is made by Kodak. Check the pricing against the other major manufacturers (i.e. SanDisk, Viking, etc.) and then make your decision.

              High Quality Card
I purchased this card after going through several downloads of my 8mg card for my DC3400. This has been an excellent card that has given me no problems!

It's even taken a spill or two and it's still working without any glitches. If you need quality and durability with high quality downloads then this card is for you!
