A darn shameKodak recently discontinued this film. This is without a doubt the best slide film ever made. The color dyes last for decades of projection. I am very disapointed as there is no good alternative.
Finest Grain Slide Film AvailableRecently Kodak has threatened to discontinue this splendid slide film. Hopefully, it won't carry out on this threat since Kodachrome 25 is the finest grain 35mm slide film ever made. The colors are vivid, without being excessively so, along with superb contrast and sharpness. If you took a photograph with a tripod mounted 35mm camera, you could easily have an enlargement made that would rival in quality almost any other color slide image made by a medium format camera. Since it is very slow film, Kodachrome 25 should be used either in very bright sunlight, with a tripod mounted camera, or both. This film is best suited for landscapes or other scenes that are lit by bright sunlight. It's a classic slide film, but still the very best with regards to contrast, sharpness and resolution.
Get the FactsAnother reviewer indicates that Kodachrome 25 film is fast film. This is not accurate information. Kodachrome 25 is very slow slide film and requires slow shutter speeds or wide apertures or both. So why buy it? Because it's one of the finest grain, sharpest films ever made. It is best used with a tripod or a powerful flash. It lends itself to serious shooting, but not snapshots. It's a professional-type film. Kodak has been threatening to discontinue this film. That would be a tragic loss. Some of today's finest nature photographs are still made with Kodachrome 25.

Ok, but not a great zoom cameraI bought this camera, since I trusted the Kodak name and did not want an APS camera, since it seems about all they make now days. I used about 5 rolls of film. Some pictures came out great and others came out with a blue tint to them. Not sure why. I decided to take this camera back and upgrade to a higher zoom. If you have small kids and want to capture those great moments, I don't recommend this camera. Sorry Kodak. Maybe if you made it in a higher zoom range.
Great little zoom cameraI bought this camera for a vacation trip and was extremely happy with the results. All the pictures came out beautifully. The easy load option is a big help.

Kodak KE115 Zoom CameraRecently purchased a Kodak KE115, and enjoy it quite a bit. Loading it is completely foolproof. Two of the features I like about it, is the display on the back of the camera, and the fact that the KE115 has a date/time printing option for the photos. Kodak's support was also excellent, I called them when I had a few questions about this model, and not only were they able to answer all of my questions, I also received some helpful tips on shooting images when using the zoom feature.

Decent CameraI bought this camera for my indtroductry photography class. It is a decent camera, with basic features.
Extremely good camera for its classFirst of all about myself. I am not new to photography. I own professional SLR cameras prime lenses and do traditional "wet" black and white printing by myself. I am also in a process of graduating from New Your Institute of Photography corresponding school. So, I know a little about photography. Now, I decided to buy this camera just for fun. Of course, I didn't expect much. How could you? Camera has fixed aperture and fixed shutter speed. F/8. and 1/100 second. But it worked. I did take some indoor shots with available flash and even though resulting pictures couldn't compare to my prime Nikon lenses, they were compared to other point and shoot cameras with auto focus quite positively. It could be that people don't know how to use their more complicated auto focus cameras correctly but pictures from KB22 taken by me bit some of them (Olympic, Canon and some other P&S zoom cameras) in sharpness. I suspect that KB22 is a perfect camera for people who never used to photograph and don't really know how or where to focus, I mean the lens in this camera is prefocused permanently to infinity, so from 1.5meter to infinity your picture will be sharp. Just press shutter release slowly, don't jerk it and most of the time you will have decent 4 by 6 prints. And here is my advice in summer or sunny winter put 100 or 200 ISO film in camera, all other times have 400 ISO film. Amazing!!
