Screen flickersWhen you have your Clie in the cradle the back light on the Clie's display flickers at a 60 hz rate. I cannot believe that's good for the Clie and since I'm very fond of my little PDA I'm NOT going to use this cradle. If I can't get it returned I'm going to junk it and buy the Sony cradle. I'll rest easier.
Screen flickers...cradle is fine and securely holds my clie, but the screen flickers a lot while charging. also looks cheaply constructed with a few exposed wires.
Nice CradlePRO:The cradle has a tilt feature that is nice for reducing glare. You can Sync without having the charger plugged in. You can also unplug the power source from the cradle for weekends not in use. Has a strong connection. Don't worry about it falling off the cradle.
CON: I wonder why there are two lights on the cradle, but only the power side works. Nothing for sync, or is my light not working. I have noticed that the power light on my Clie flickers all the time while in the cradle. Don't know if its supposed to go out after a full charge or its a strobe.

Seemless Solution for charging my clieI was really handicapped with the one charger provided with clie. I use it as home and do not carry it everywhere. I use PC in office and I wanted a way to charge my clie in office. The USB charger for iConcepts was the solution. It can be connected to the USB port in the PC and the power port in the clie. So, you don't have to worry about an extra power point near your PC (if you used a ordinary AC power charger) When you mount the clie in the cradle, it charges automatically, so it makes life lot easy. I have used this for a month and there has been no problem so far. I in fact keep the calendar software running (which I would not have before!) So, get this and keep your clie happy !
