it is good. buy the lenmar omnisource charger from amazon as well. Both combined is 75$ cheaper than the $100 just for sony battery. omni charger is great !!!!!!!!!!! The omni charger can be used to charge any brand battery. it has diff plates to fit different brands.

Don;t mix this abttery with the sony charger, don;t know what can happen.

I bought this protector and it died in less than 6 months. Save your money.

Not having this surge protector is asking for trouble. It is small and convenient. It looks ultra-cool with its numerous lights going to work for you.

The PS600 is specifically geared to protect your PS2. Monster is known for quality and this product is no exception. It will even protect you from online surges (for when the PS2 goes online in the future).

This is definitely a wise investment.

This product is made by MONSTER CABLE so it pretty much have a standard of performance. The S-Video works perfect with flat screens because of the clarity. The Fiber-optic needs a receiver and it's only wroth it if you are going to use it as your first or secondary DVD machine. Don't waste money if you are not turning on the DTS. If you are buying this kit to watch DVD mainly. It's wroth the cost. Get a remote control too if watching DVD.

I do have to admit that being a smart shopper I was hesitant to shell out so much money for "just a cable". But upon the advise of a coworker who said "now that you have a big screen TV you HAVE TO GET A COMPONENT VIDEO CABLE". And right he was. I definitely notice a difference in picture color (not necessiarly in quality but the colors are cleaner and more true to life) when playing DVD movies. I would definitely advise investing in a good cable!

I purchased a Sony WEGA 27 inch tv. I took advantage of it's rear component input labeled video4. I connected my Sony DVP360 Dvd player. With dvd viewing, the movie Dinosaur, Bug's Life, Toy Story 1 and 2, and Vegas Vacation, the colors were very vibrant, details were dynamic, and the picture quality was very accurate in at least 480 lines of resolution. I have viewed these same movies on larger screen HDTV's such as the Pioneer Elite and was disappointed??? Glass picture tubes provide a more realistic picture. I can't imagine that I can do any better for my television than these cables. I am completely happy with dvd movie watching on my Sony WEGA with these Monster component 3 cables!

These and all other brand cables from MC are all overpriced including these. I have a 20" JVC I'Art television and I have my DVD connected through component. I have used Monster Cable component cables and they put out pretty much the exact same picture as my newer PHILIPS brand component cables that I only had to pay about [$$$] or so for. The PHILIPS are also shielded and gold plated and all that good stuff. So buy these MC component cables if you dont care about price, but otherwise buy PHILIPS brand that are way cheaper and put out the same quality picture.

I'm an audio guy first, so I can tell you first hand, yes, this has improved the imaging and dynamics of my system. For video applications, colors are more vivid, pictures sharper, and even cable TV looks better.

This is [money] well spent. Give it a week to break in, and you'll really start to notice how much you're enjoying music and watching movies, with this hooked into yer system.

...at least somebody is catering to this market. There are so many products out there (cables, power, etc.) that are so obviously designed to make money by giving you the cheapest possible components. I purchase my Monster products with delight because at least they APPEAR to care about quality. I have never actually compared this power strip to another by watching the same video feed and cannot say for sure that it does what it says with regard to filtering AC pollution. BUT, I do know that AC pollution exists and sometimes my mobile video equipment will pick up radio signals and corrupt microphone recordings.
