I like the case, would love more colors
good caseThe fit for the camera is snug, and it manages to provide the camera's body with adequate protection without being bulky. It also resists scratches -- I've used mine for several weeks and have already traveled with it a great deal, and it still looks new (and thanks to the case, so does the camera). It even comes with a variety of carrying straps, assuring that at least one will suit your needs. It is obvious that a great deal of thought went into the case, just as it did the camera.
Perfect case for P9 and similar camerasThe case as a shiny finish to the hard material that can prevent you camera from damage when you drop it down.

- Fits your DSC-P72 or P92 camera perfectly
- Lightweight case
- Light weight
- Made of Polyurethane
- Color: Blue

Good idea but could have been executed better.Pros:
The quick release cover concept works well
The cover stays out of the picture at almost any angle
The secured end of the case adds needed grip
Tripod mount still usable with the case on
Cons:
The plastic? and neoprene surfaces look odd together and the colors don't match well
The cover doesnt full enclose the camera
The case must be removed entirely to access batteries or ports

- Compatible with the Sony CyberShot DSC-F828 Digital Camera
- Luxurious real leather case
- Can be used with the supplied shoulder strap and the STP-SA padded shoulder strap
- Attached hood (DSC-F828 included) can also be stored inside
- Weighs 6.7 ounces
Used price: $49.02

No Strap?
A nice case for a jewel of a cameraBecause of its snug fit, there is no room for additional accessories such as a spare battery or a CF card. Sony also sells a larger strap which incorporates a small pouch to fit such items into.
It is advertised as fitting the camera with its hood mounted. I must confess to being unable to achieve this -- perhaps because the case is new, it may stretch slightly over time. However, the hood does reverse and fit onto the lens enabling it to fit into the case.
Sony has thought of everything -- the camera is probably the most intelligently designed (and beautifully built) cameras on the market today.
If you are one of those that travels with everything, then a dedicated camera and accessory case is probably more for you. However, given the design of this case, it could easily fit into a larger bag, enabling a day trip with camera only with some protection. One other downside, is that you will need to remove the bottom part of the case (which separates and attaches to the base of the camera) to charge the battery, as that section of the case prevents access to the power charging port at the rear of the camera.
I give it four and a half stars.
