Not worth the $ if you're doing more with your camera laterThere aren't many options for your pictures that you're taking meaning you can't change the lighting effect (inside, outside, cloudy, snow, night, etc), size, picture type (black & white, etc) or many of the other things that you can on other cameras. I found that when pictures were loaded onto the computer, they looked grainy and dull, and if you used the flash, that also seemed to ruin the effect of the picture. There is also no zoom which is one thing I forgot to check out when purchasing this camera. I was not happy with this camera at all after a couple months when I needed better quality photos.
The video recorder of the camera was also a disappointment to me. The recording was very choppy and colors again were poor. On the bright side, it recorded the sound well.
I had no problem with the MP3 player or audio recorder, they both worked fine and were the quality that one would expect.
I now own a Sony Cyber-Shot camera which I am VERY pleased with. Basically you really need to think about what type of pictures you will be taking with your camera and if you want them to be the best quality possible, or if it simply doesn't matter to you to decide if you will be happy with this camera.

This is the coolest little recorder!Online Review

This unit is incredible for a variety of reasons; it's a pocket-sized piece of electronics that records digital video, stills, voice/audio and plays MP3's - all wrapped up in one. The AV10 also comes with a 64MB SD memory card, which are about the size of a postage stamp. Actually I'm planning on buying another SD card (256MB) not just for more storage - these cards have fast data rates and easily store multiple formats including the MPEG4 video and JPEG photos that you shoot using the unit. The MPEG4 video clips and JPEG photos can also be transferred to your PC by plugging the reader/writer adapter into your computer, where you can add effects, email, or post online. Using the 64MB SD card that comes with it, you can record as much as 80 minutes of video. God knows how many minutes of video you can store if use a 256MB card - doing the math I would imagine it would store 320 minutes or so in the economy mode. Finally, as for stills, the 64MB SD card will hold approximately 1760 pictures depending upon what you shoot of course. So I've been taking this handy dandy thing with me pretty much everywhere. Actually I was really happy I had it the other day when I needed to take pictures of cars that I wanted to show a friend of mine (I sent him an email with the shots attached).
I'm pretty happy with it and use more often than I originally thought and you probably will too.

This Camera is greatIf anyone is thinking about purchasing a camcorder, I highly recommend the Panasonic PVL353 or higher model. You will enjoy this camcorder.

- Saves digital stills to SD memory card; 8 MB card included

Great teeny little thing! The camcorder is very easy to use.The manual explains everything clearly.I shot some video of my puppies and had them going out to family and friends over the internet in a matter of minutes.
Another thing I liked...you can choose the color of the camcorder.Certainly not important technically, but asthetically,it's way cool!!
All in all..I am completely satisfied with this little camcorder and recommend it w/o reservation.
One more thing: This really isn't a still camera,so using it for that purpose won't be very satisfying..I think if it is used on the spur of the moment to capture an unforgettable image, then it works well enough.
