Because this is real black and white film, the negatives are a bit thicker, which gives you dark darks and white whites.
If you are looking for very crisp professional looking black and white photos, uses this film. The film is extremely fine grained for very sharp pictures. If you use an SLR camera or a large format, you can change your film speed and still get incredible pics. If you want a more mystic, grained art look, you will be better off with two things, a lower speed film (100 or 125) and a TMAX film, not Tri-X. I hope you enjoy this film as much as I do. It is IDEAL for portraits, and landscape shooting.
