Helpful hints : Handle the cut out fitters carefully and place them in the gelatin Holder (194), one of which is supplied with the Cokin Creative set. You may need several Modular Hoods (255) to protect the filters against the weather : check that the hoods do not vignette the image. These filters do not offer the optical quality of classical filters and cannot replace them for all applications.

This is one the kids and myself have a lot of fun with. Turn your only child or friends, parents and children into twins. Or have that large family you always wanted. Invent jokes on the spot. It is a very easy filter to use. You must make sure your cameras can take multiple exposures first.

Helpful Hints :

An aperture setting of f/8 through f/4 is good for wide angle lenses and f/22 through f/8 for telephoto lenses. The lighting must be the same for both shots and a tripod is required for best results.

This neat gadget allows you to use even MORE filters with your cokin filter system. Just think of it, now you can use a skylight, polarizer, 4 star filter, ND and more all at once! A great item to have in your photobag for those moments when you need more filters, but dont' have the room to put them in your filter holder.

The coupling ring let's you attach a second filter holder allowing you to use more than three filters at once. You can also orientate square filters in different directions. Or move a Center Spot filter father away from the lens for a larger circle. Or other filters that are best used when placed far forward like Pastels , Diffusers and the Pre-shaped Frames to name a few. It is Not for use with wide angle lenses.The Coupling Ring will also attach to the Modular Hood (225)

Helpful hints : This filter is suitable with lenses up to 250mm. I recommend a large aperture on wide-angle lenses, and a smalleraperture with longer focal lengths. Do not cover the whole image withthe filter so you can keep part of the picture sharp. Do not use toosmall an aperture, or you'll see the filter rather than theeffect. The Cokin Speed filter adds streaks of lights to give the impression that something is rushing by. If you want some part of your photo to stay sharp, place the hole of the filter in front of your lens. And don't use too small an aperture, or you'll see the filter rather than the effect. The Speed filter works best with lenses from 35 mm to 200 mm, and is very effective with the Cokin Creative Filters (375), Sunset (197,198), Color Polarizing (161-163), Vari-Color (170-173) and many others.

This Cokin attachment creates parallel multiple images. Unlikeconventional filters, you can adjust the effect, either by rotatingthe filter holder or by shifting the filter itself. Like the CokinSuper Speed (217), the Multi-Parallel keeps part of the imageunaltered to accentuate the special effect. For best results selecthigh contrast scenes : Simple shapes, neon signs, trees silhouettedagainst the sky. Even portraits can become amusing caricatures.Through the use of double exposure, you can achieve more compleximages. First, expose a picture without the Multi-Parallel (though anyother filter may be used). Then, superimpose a second exposure on thesame film with the Multi-Parallel filter. Or you can project your oldslides on a screen (or matt drawing paper) and rephotograph themthrough various Cokin, filters. You'll be surprised at howsophisticated the effects will be.

Helpful hints: As with all Cokinfilters, make sure that wide-angle, lenses do not vignette theimage. Also, don't stop down too much with the Cokin Multi-Parallel orthe filter, rather than the effect, will become visible.
