For the gadget geek in all of us
No one is a bigger gadget geek then me. I love innovated products and rather have a gadget over diamonds any day. With that said, I fell in love instantly when I saw the Casio's Pocket PC with the Camera attachment at a business meeting. From the moment I purchases my own (in 2000) I knew I would find multiple uses for my new toy.

I will be completely honest; this device does not take the greatest pictures in the world! HOWEVER, this camera has been a lifesaver on many occasions. I have met stars unexpectedly and taken pictures with them, stored pictures of my home to compare items in the store, endless job related purposes. It also came with video caption software and you can take 30 seconds of video and transfers it to your device and link up to your computer. Especially living in New York City, you just don't know what you're going to see! You can also transfer pictures from your pc to the handheld to cherish your favorite pictures on your mobile device. My only complaint is you have to have good lighting and you have to be completely still you get a decent photo. As for printing the pictures, the smaller you print the pictures the better the print. I never excess 4 x 6 prints and usually print 3 x 5.

This camera is for someone you love gadgets, loves pictures, and just loves to show off. No matter where I go people (including stars) always seem to be impressed with this device. Most important I'm impressed and I look forwarded for Casio to create one with better resolution. I purchase this about two years ago and I'm still happy with it. The price has dropped from when I obtained mine so that's even more reason to get this. Sometimes you don't have room in your bags or briefcase for a separate camera, and with device your camera is where your handheld pc is!

NOTE: Keep in mind if you need a digital camera then this is not for you the resolution is too low. Strictly for the gadget geeks.

Nifty but poor picture quality
Very cool gadget for the Cassiopeia but the picture is indeed rough especially when blown up on a PC. Photo quality is also dim without sunlight. Definitely not for pro or serious photo shoots. Okay for casual image capture. You may have to wait until they come up with higher pixels. ...

Dazzling
I give it 5/5 starts for the following reasons:

1) User friendly, not complicated at all.
2) One of the lightest cameras doesn't add weight to your device.
3) Excellent quality, it is Casio ;)
4) Flexible, it can be rotated in different positions with focus.
5) Price! Because I got 50% OFF ;)
6) It supports Siemens SX45, and I am using it.

Check for compatibility if you are interested you can visit casio for additional information.

Have fun...

Works With IPAQ Too
My company originally bought these cards for use in the Casio E-105, E-115 and E-125's. Then we switched to Compaq IPAQ 3635's. These cards work beautifully. It is the smallest CF Modem card out there.

One of the best modems out there
I bought this modem a while ago when my computer was slower than molassis. After I bought this item my computer gets to sites in a quick sec and th downloading qualities are amazing. So if you are looking for a modem get this one. You won't regret it.

not worth the money
This case offers only a little more protection than the case that comes with the Casio E-125. The same rigid cardboard-like material is sewn into the case to protect the screen. There is no extra padding. The soft leather is nice, as are the properly spaced holes so that you can use the PDA while it is in the case. But the added bulk of the case makes it impossible to fit the PDA into a jacket or shirt pocket. The little case that comes with the E-125 fits snugly around the PDA so that it still fits into these pockets.

I should've gone here first
I just received my new Casio Bi-Fold PDA case and I love it. this is the third case I have bought for my PDA and am finally satified. It has a place to carry my important cards, it folds out flat, so it doesen't get in the way of writing, it has a small note pad for those quick notes (which I have been looking for) and it was a great price. It looks like the third time was the charm.

The BEST accessory for your Casio PocketPC
Having recently purchased a Casio Cassiopeia E-125 and being instantly disappointed with the goofy little polyester/elastic pouch that came with it, I decided it was time to get something a little more useful for protecting my investment.

Casio; unlike Palm, Handspring & HP; does not provide a covering to protect the delicate and expensive color screen of the Cassiopeia. The competition almost always provides a platic or metal covering for there PDA screens; but Casio, for reasons unknown, doesn't bother.

So, with a bit of reluctance, I plopped down my money for the Casio Bi-Fold PDA case for the E-115. (Yes, it works fine with the E-125 as well...) The reluctance came from not ever having seen or handled the case; the only information I had to go on was that provided by Amazon.com. So I took a gamble and purchased the case. Boy am I glad I did!

The case is simplicity itself. Basic black leather in construction, with a little Velcro tab to keep the case securely closed. It opens like a book, with a small white pad of paper on the left hand side along with a small slot for stowing the occasional business card and such. The right hand side is the place for the Casio.

To install the PocketPC into the case, one simply inserts the unit through the top of a black leather "pocket." Holes are strategically located in this "pocket" in all the right places. There is a big rectangular cut-out for the screen, two smaller holes underneath for the cursor and select buttons, and several holes along the sides for access to the other buttons, ports and the all-important stylus. The unit can be inserted and removed from the pocket with great ease. Also, the leather pocket is held in place in the case by Velcro, so you can remove the Cassiopeia from the case with it's leather pocket securely attached. Unfortunately, you have to remove the Casio completely from it's protective pocket in order for it to fit in the synch cradle. I don't synch my Casio to my PC very often, so it's a non-issue for me. The main point is that all the Casio's functions can be utilized while the unit sits comforatably within it's leather case, with the exception of synching with the PC.

Another nice touch provided in the case is a small elasitic loop located in the "binder" for holding a pen. (necessary for writing on the handy-dandy paper notepad...)

Since the day I first installed my E-125 into this case, I've rarely removed it. It provides decent protection for the screen, and security for the mind. There are fancier and much more expensive cases available from Casio, but this little number is just right for yours truly.

If you are buying a Casio E-125, do make this case your very next purchase; you'll be glad you did.

Great Flash for use with EOS/Canon digital
Bought this flash about two weeks ago for use with my Canon Powershot G1 digital camera, and have been nothing but impressed with it. it mates beautifully to the Canon, although it does make it somewhat bulky. The bounce flash photography is beautiful, and the E-TTL system just makes you look like a total pro. I also look forward to using it for wireless flash photography.

There are SOME things missing, however. Compared to my Canon 430 EZ flash, there is no LCD display. No flash compensation (but this isn't a big deal, since that's controlled from my G1). No strobe. If these are important to you, step up to the 550 EX. Otherwise, the 420 is a beautiful workhorse.

Great Flash for EOS type-A cameras
I bought this flash to go with my Elan 7E and it has worked great. It has all the features that most EOS users would ever need (vertical and horizontal bounce, fast sync, and E-TTL control). It isn't as good as the 550EX, but if you aren't planning on using mutliple flashes slaved together this is the better deal at almost half the cost (though the 420EX can be used as a wireless slave flash with the 550EX as the master). If you are shopping for an external flash for your EOS camera, you can't go wrong with this one.

    Superb power for the money
An external flash is one of those things many people think only a "pro" has a need for -- like a tripod. Once you get one, though, you realize how essential it is and couldn't imagine going into the field without one.

I recently purchased this as part of my Digital Rebel package and am quite impressed with its features. The E-TTL -- the ability to adjust to the scene according to the camera's metering results -- is really amazing.

On the back of the unit is an LED display showing your approximate focal length (24 - 105mm), which also determines how powerful the flash will be. Additionally, there is a pilot button/light (for a test flash), exposure confirmation light, high-speed sync switch, "slave" setting buttons and the power switch.

After its flash flexibility, the 420EX's most impressive feature is its physical flexibility. You can move the flashhead within 90° vertically and horizontally, and it will lock at several angles. This enables the bounce-flash -- assuming you have a reflective surface nearby. Bounce-flash softens and distributes the light so you don't have overexposed, stiff looking subjects.

Speaking of which, I'd like to say that I bought a Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce diffuser when I bought the 420EX because it seemed like a good accessory. I have found that I generally don't need it because the 420EX is able to fine-tune itself to each shot.

I can't comment on its functionality as a slave because I have not used it in that capacity.

Ultimately, the 420EX is a great tool, whether you're shooting your kid's birthday party or a macro of a flower. It will allow you to take much better photos than you can with the built-in flash. And at its current price it is absolutely unbeatable.
