No problems, good price
I bought this CompactFlash card to go with my Canon S50 digital camera. It was a good price and there was a rebate on it too.

This is a Type I card, which means it is SMALLER and thinner than a Type II card, and Type I is the most popular. The card is plenty fast in my Canon and I even heard that the Canon brand card that comes with the camera is made by SimpleTech. I have had zero problems with this card.

Own three SimpleTech 256 and a SimpleTech 512 CF cards
I've taken over 24,000 pixs with these on a Nikon CoolPix 5000 and only once did the 512 give me a fright. But in the end, the pixs were there. It happened during file transfer from the card to a PowerMac laptop. It could've been my fault; a little careless last weekend.

Speed of writing on SimpleTech cards is respectable; price is right though.

Excellent
I have used this card for about 6 months and never had any problems. I used it in a Canon G5 camera.

INDESTRUCTABLE...holds a ton of photos...listen to this!
I left this compact flash card in my jacket pocket by mistake and WASHED THE JACKET IN MY WASHING MACHINE. As I was unloading the washer, I saw it at the bottom of the washer....I immediately wiped it off and put it back in my camera...hoping it was ok. ALL 133 photos were STILL THERE!!!

Worth every penny!

Love this card!
I have used it multiple times in a single day, and it produces great results without fail.

Works great!
The previous reviewers seem a little confused. It's a type I card, works the same as any other type I card. You can pay extra for a high speed card, but this one runs the same speed as any other standard speed card. Doesn't seem fair to me to post a review without understanding the product, or to compare to products in a different price range.

Problem Free, as it should be.
I bought two, the both worked well with no problems. Which is what you expect, but it is worth noting.

More MB means more pics for your digital camera!
I already have a 256MB compactflash card from Simpletech, but needed a little more extra just in case... for back-up. This 32MB card does the trick and it works just as well as the other Simpletech cards I have, which is just what I expected!! I also got the Simpletech Flashlink CF card reader, really cuts down the transfer time in getting my digital images on to my computer.

254 shots with 8 Megpixel Camera
SimpleTech is the best across the board, for all types of memory cards. This 1 gigabyte CF card is excellent. I use it for my Olympus C8080 digital camera. At the highest quality setting, this CF card will get me 254 color shots. Not bad. It's dependable, well-built, and has a fairly fast write time.

Ignore the negative review:
Clearly the person giving this one star is doing so because apparently they are upset that the card could not be used in a product not designed for it! Normally I write very few reviews but it's quite irritating when people post negatives simply because they don't understand what they are purchasing.

This is a CF II card...that means it's for cameras and devices with a CF II slot...

In any event, this is an excellent card. Very fast with my Cannon 300D (Rebel). Uses minimal power, with no moving parts. I've never had a problem with any read / write operation. I'm getting 287 6 MegaPixel images...hopefully enough for most people! Overall very happy with this card.

Works well
It's a type II card, so it's thicker and won't fit in a type I slot, but if your device has a type II slot, as most PDAs do, it's a fine card. I have one in my Dell Axim.

Great Combo Kit
If you own a digital camera and take a lot of pictures and value your own time, then get this. With SimpleTech's 128MB Compact Flash card and reader I'm able to get the most out of my Canon Powershot G2. I can store 200 photos then download them incredibly fast to my PC without wasting my camera battery life or mine.

Everything you need for your digital camera!
Nothing is more waste of time that waiting for you images to download from the digital camera to your computer. I needed an extra CF card and stumbled on this package that also comes with the reader... now I can get images from the card to computer in a flash! Great stuff!

Convenient and easy to use!
I needed a way to get my images from my digital camera to my computer faster, the serial connections are too slow. I couldn't believe how fast I was able to down load all my images from the compact flash card. My computer sees the FlashLind just like another hard drive, and with Win2000, installation was a cinch. If you take alot of pictures with your digital camera, you're going to want to get one of these!

Has a mind of its own
I'm glad most people are happy with their card because I'm having a terrible time with mine. I just came back from a short trip and was transferring 21 pictures that I took to my computer. By the 4th picture, things came to a halt, it might have been my computer. When I tried again, the camera gave me the "No image" message. Yes, the card was blank, all 21 pictures in the camera simply vanished before my eyes while I was transferring them to my computer. This is not the first time. It did do a few little funny things here and there before. Obviously I missed the crucial sign of a greater potential trouble back then. This memory card has compeletely made me paranoid about taking pictures with a digital camera. It's one of those things that money refund won't replace what's been lost.

    Works for me
I was a little nervous when I purchased this card, having seen some negative reviews here for it, but I used the discount that Simpletech offered with the purchase of a digital camera, here at Amazon, and instead of getting the free 32 MB, I went for the 128 MB. I am glad that I did. I am using it in a Kodak DC3900, and have had no problems. I also use a Viking CF PCCard adapter, and they all work fine together, with no problems that I have noted.

    Awesome
I've owned it for a year and it works fine. No issues with loss of storange or read/write speed.

Simpletech still has never failed me
Being that I only had the 8 MB that came stock with my camera the switch to the Simpletech 64MB cf card was a huge difference. I have always been happy with Simpletech products. My last purchase of the 64MB CF Card re-assured my faith in ST.

    The More the Merrier
I bought the Simpletech 64 MB compact flash card and was instantly impressed with the added storage capabilities. It's inexpensive and definately worth the added functionality to use with digital cameras, PDA's and MP3 players!

More juice for your digital camera!
I don't know about you but a mesley 8MB CF card really doesn't allow for many photos to be stored. Got one of these cards, and now I can get a decent amount of images in one shoot. Thinking about getting the 256MB CF so I can even take more images and want to also get the Flashlink reader so I can get my photos to my computer fast!
