DAZZLE FUSION ALL IN ONE VIDEO

    Horrible!!!!!
... Read the fine print on your Dazzle video capture screen - you only get 50% of the resolution on your TV - this should be called "Dazzling Fuzzy Pics Creator"!!! Bundle programs will only install one component at a time - leaving all the install boxes checked will cause your computer to crash because of install hangups. Will not "build" and "burn" your DVD at the same time. After much time and grief, the best analog to DVD movie conversion was a one frame per 3 seconds slide show (with the in between frames lost) and totally garbled sound. The program/hardware concept sounds great, which is why you will believe you ought to buy this RIGHT NOW. The program/hardware execution and results leave me furious that I did not read the reviews. There are other on-line stores with this product's reviews too, and they all sound like my review. I'm not ordinarily this stupid, but my impulse to buy this thing definitely was duuuuumb!!!

    Brought and returned....
This is a great paperweight... Customer/technical service is terrible... Online troubleshooting is terrible... It plain just doesn't work... Even their message boards for pier technical-help agree, don't buy this...

    dazzle fusion has NO "dazzle"
I purchased the dazzle fusion product because of the multi card reader capabilities and the ability to run slideshows. Problems started from day one with this software. Updates first need to be downloaded from their website which take awhile. The slideshow program was slow to load pictures and I always had problems burning the pics with music to a cdr. Don't expect to call the company and get answers either. I called numerous times and no answer. My last try I waited 45 minutes until someone answered and then he had no clue on how to fix my problems. I since downloaded a software program from photodex and this software works great with 10fold more features compared to the dazzle program.

          Good with updrade
This unit set up easily in WindowsXP and in Windows 2000 for me. I mostly use Compact Flash cards and have had no problem with that media. No issues with the one time I used it with MMC media either. Using Lexar Memory Sticks, however, was problematic at first - but installing the firmware upgrade from the Dazzle site did the trick.

There are no guides on the device (or much of an manual either) to tell you how to slide in the card so if you don't get a read from the drive at first, try inserting the card another way. Also, by default, the 2 drive letters assigned are not descriptive - i.e., you can't tell which one is for which card type. But after you figure it out, you can change the drive name in Windows.

Quirks aside, this device does the job.

          plug and play!!
If you are using WinXP, you don't have to intall its driver..
WinXp automatically detects it and assign two drive letters.

If you have your hard disk on C: and cd drive on D:,
then the your reader will be E: and F:.
One is for compact flash and micro dirve,
and the other is for smart media, memory stick, mm and sd card..

I have no problem with reading and deleting files.
However, my experience is limited to CompactFlash and SmartMedia card.
Thus, can't comment on the other media..

          works flawlessly
i haven't had a problem with this on ME or XP, performs flawlessly. Better than hooking your camera up to your computer using USB - whatever you insert becomes just another device.

it's *cheap* in my opinion, worth every penny. i'm about to buy a new digital camera, and i know this thing will be able to read the cards.

Worked out of the box with Red Hat Linux 8.0
It's always a treat to find a device that works out of the box on my Linux laptop. I plugged in the card, did 'mount -t msdos /dev/hdc1 /mnt/flash' and was in business. This was using Red Hat 8.0.

            Good Product
Very good in performance, can read all 4 format media. Fit all my request. I use it as a floppy disk.
