Very Modern, Very FastNote also that although it doesn't have a tripod mount, you can make it very stable by shooting with it folded flat - I've gotten some excellent driving shots simply by setting it leather-side-down on my dashboard. Being able to mount real 28mm filters (with the included, unfortunately plastic, ring adaptor) is nice, and I've used that with lenses too (with some care - the manual recommends against it, the adaptor isn't really meant to support the weight of the camera or a large lens.)
It also really is shirt-pocketable, a key to taking shots Right Now. Also it doesn't skimp on buttons, there's not nearly as much "menu/mode walking" as on some other cameras.
Finally, the rotation feels *very* solid, with a click at +90/0/-90 degrees (though you can go past that in both directions, good for both overhead and low-angle shots.)

- ISO sensitivity of 50 to 1600
- Up to 3 fps continuous shooting speed
- Ultra-thin crystalline low pass filter
- Writes to various formats, including JPEG (3 compression ratios), RGB-TIFF, and RAW
- Menu of white balance selections

Only ONE Good Thing About It!First, there isn't an memory card that would fit into it without SHOVING it in! I did get good photos. Too bad the camera DELETED them while I watched, not even TOUCHING anything! I had a good return policy, which is the ONLY good thing about this piece of JUNK!!!
tiny, cheap and better than most! The only drawback is that the drivers on the CD are old, so if you use Windows XP or Mac OS X, you will need to buy additional memory and a card reader. I bought a 64meg SD card for $29 and a SanDisk card reader for $19.
Don't be fooled by other cameras boasting more megapixels either because I tried one that said it was 3.1 with higher resolutions than this one at 1.3. But this Concord EyeQ Go LCD at 1.3 megapixels took better, clearer images. Megapixels mean nothing if the lens and mechanism are worthless.
Don't be afraid to buy this camera; at under $100, it's a great buy and easy to use and fits in any pocket.
:)
Pleasantly surprised and very pleased!Yes, there are better cameras on the market - there are A LOT worse. It does have its little bugs as the others have stated, but I would still recommend this camera for those that want to take nice pictures at a reasonable price.
What I like the most about this camera is the viewer capture accuracy. What I see in the viewer or LCD, is pretty close to what I snapped and downloaded. My HP 720 was off center somewhat and got much worse as I used the digital zoom. The Contax TVS digital doesn't have this problem. At this point in time I can only compare two digital cameras I bought, and to be able to write this review. I hope it is informative and useful.
What I don't like most about this camera is that the shutter release button is very hard to distinguish from the rest of the top side of the camera. Again, I'm a guy with large hands, with some wear and tear on the finger tips. At times I could not find the shutter button as I was looking thru the viewer. So I may have to add a drop of glue or black finger nail polish to provide a "bump" on the shutter release button so I know I'm on the trigger. I did this once before on another camera and it worked out well.
Overall, the Contax TVs is a great high-end quality camera, and somewhat pricey. I have the Contax T2 "film version" and I just wanted to have the digital version. Is the camera worth the price? Maybe. It's not a slam and dunk decision and it depends on what you are looking for in a camera: quality, materials, name, fashion look, etc.
