Exciting features, disappointing performance
RiskyI just got this camera and was first delighted by all the features it carries within an acceptable price. However, after careful observation, it seems that this camera's design is old and technology outdated since 1993 (this is the default start date set by the camera itself, which makes it risky). Also, it doesnt run smooth and I've heard bad things about Fuji's customer service as mentioned by others. I am disappointed and plan to return it back for an exchange. You are better off with a Nikon 90 QD/120 ED or, if you can afford, a Canon Rebel.
This is a sincere advice: Don't buy this brand!

Do not RecommendThis camera has been the most awful I have ever owned.
Horrible blurry pictures and I have tried many types of film.
Goes through batteries very fast, and now the flash has stopped working. I will never purchase FujiFilm brand again.

Not such a Hot Shot!!We have owned this camera since about a year ago. Really terrible pictures. We have put through about a dozen rolls of film on it, and although with time it has improved, the first images were really out of focus. It's like it needs to be broken in! Recently, the photos have been getting better, but it always produces pictures where the objects in the background are more in focus than the image in the centre of the photo that we orignally focussed on. I have taken many pictures in my life, but my old 110 camera did better than this!!!
The Camera for youthis camera is perfect especcially if you are not going to use it alot. It has date, zoom, and everything a basic camera should have and more. If you are looking for a basic camera and you pass this one up then you will not be satisfied with the one you buy. This camera even has a great price. All of these things put together equill the best camera for you.

What does this guy expect for $27.00Yeah, I bought one...
I bought a cheap camera, and that is what I got...A cheap camera that took pictures while I was on vacation. Stop complaining man!

Not quite as describedThis is a totally different camera than the one described under specifications. The Auto10 comes with batteries (2-AA) and a 12 exposure roll of 400 speed Fuji film. It also comes with a soft case, strap and a $5 rebate from Fuji. There is no autofocus, it focuses from 1.5 METERS to infinity (not 1.5 FEET as stated in product specs), there is no self timer. The red-eye reduction flash works well, the large viewfinder is nice, and the owner's manual is concise, but many of the other features such as the lens cover, motor and frame numbers are chintzy, poorly designed. Had the published specs been accurate, I would have known to purchase a different model. The quality of the photos taken with this camera was just average.

On the down side, the film advance and zoom are VERY loud. Don't expect to use it in a quiet setting like a wedding. The view finder does not accurately represent the picture; it seems to be offcenter. Because of this, you have to be VERY careful when focusing to make sure that you are getting the *right* part of the view finder on the subject that you want to focus on. In addition, I can't hand off my camera to someone else to take the picture, because it is never in focus. Never was able to get this fixed.
I have "learned" to be able to take decent pictures with it, but even I miss it sometimes...and it is always on the really cute pictures. I have been limping along with it mostly because it worked good enough to tolerate all the "lost" good pictures.
We are now expecting a baby, and I want to be able to get good pictures for myself and to be able to have others take good pictures with it too. So we are shopping for a replacement...Finally...Allelujia!
